This time of year can bring unique challenges, as college students often return home, sometimes intent on 'convincing' their parents to see things their way. The recent Presidential election may add to the tension in many households. There’s something about 'high days and holy days' that seems to elevate the stakes, making bold declarations and intense discussions more common.

No matter your question, I understand how isolating it can feel to be the parent of a gender-distressed child. Please leave your questions in the comments below, including any details that might help me address it properly (although please avoid sharing identifying information if it could be harmful).
