Six months since I pressed 'Publish' on Substack
Thank you for your support and looking forward to sharing more advice and information over the coming months
Hi,
I can’t believe it’s six months since I pressed the publish button on my parent coaching resource on Substack. Firstly, I want to thank you all for subscribing and supporting my work during this time.
I’m looking forward to sharing more advice and information with you over the coming months and don’t forget, if you haven’t already, you can subscribe at 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒚.𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒌.𝒄𝒐𝒎
Subscribers can access past presentations that have already been covered and I’m always keen to hear suggestions for further presentations. My most recent seminar was called ‘𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑩𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔’ where I outlined how boundaries work and how to ensure that love is always a central focus.
In May, we had a discussion with the parent estrangement expert, Karl Melvin with our presentation ‘𝑭𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕: 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏’ and covered several topics including the deeper psychological impact of estrangement...pushing rejection, playing the long-game, alienation, and finding meaning and purpose.
April saw us cover ‘𝑺𝒆𝒍𝒇-𝒉𝒂𝒓𝒎, 𝒔𝒖𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒖𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒅𝒆’, where I shared information and advice on helping parents to navigate these difficult topics.
While in March, I hosted ‘𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆’ and February saw us cover ‘𝑰𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝑺𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏’.
My first live monthly presentation for this Parent Coaching resource was entitled ‘𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓-𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅’.
I continue to get feedback on this one and I really enjoy interacting with parents during these exclusive monthly presentations. Please let me know if you have any ideas for future presentations and please subscribe at 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒚.𝒔𝒖𝒃𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒄𝒌.𝒄𝒐𝒎 if you would like to hear more.
Kind Regards,
Stella
Thank you, Stella, for your dedication and support.
Thank you so much Stella, I can’t even begin to describe where I’d be if I hadn’t fallen upon your Podcast Wider Lens. You bring a level headed approach to a very distressing and dangerous space which allows me to work through this process with a sense of self confidence, calmness and love. It’s like having a good friend who understands completely what we’re going through, one who supports and champions us as parents. I wish there were thousands more of you to help our kids with a kind and safe approach to treatment rather than simply affirming their misguided beliefs.
