Thanks for all your work. And we should be safeguarding those even up to 25.

And older. Ritchie speaks up for adults caught up in this. My son was medicalized at 24. Thanks MamaBearProud. I get what you're saying. 👍

I think medicalizing isn't right for anyone, but I don't know that we have a judicial precedence to prevent it. The moral & ethical onus should be on medical professionals, but alas, here we are. Whereas, we do have judicial precedence for preventing harm to YA adults - tattoos, tanning, alcohol, cigarettes etc.

Thank you for standing up for young adults. My 20 year old daughter is in no condition to understand what she is doing to her body.

Here, here, thank you for this Stella. I loved the article, the TIPP radio show and everything else you put out. Balanced and hard hitting. Feel relieved as we have a so one-to-one 19 year old taming hormones. We're on a 6 month no contact. It was agreed to amicably in therapy. Our dais doing well in every other way. I think the separation issues are at play in our case.

I have a 17, too soon to be 18 year old son. Making small decisions is difficult for him. Safeguards need to be in place until 25. Giving their brains a chance to fully develop.

What a great letter. I hope they listen. What you're doing is extremely important, and I (as a parent of a trans-identified teenage daughter) cannot thank you enough.
