May’s webinar will see a discussion with parental estrangement expert, Karl Melvin. Titled ‘Facing Estrangement: How parents can navigate and actual management from their children’, it will take place on 11th May and will see us cover a number of topics including:
* The deeper psychological impact of estrangement...punishing rejection
* Playing the long-game...estrangement and patience
* Parents have feelings as well...validating your humanity
* The Estrangement Radius...the social consequences of being estranged
* Redefining your role after an estrangement...taking back your self-worth
* Putting your pain to positive use...finding meaning and purpose
Parents who wish to support their gender dysphoric child will need to use boundaries and love to make sure they are maintain healthy relationships in the family. In June’s webinar, titled ‘Leaning in with Love & Boundaries’, to take place on 14th June, I will outline how to bring in the boundaries and how to ensure that love is always a central focus.
