I really love your thoughts here. The part about coming to terms with our finite, imperfect selves should be a bigger part of the conversation. It's a central part of the human condition for all of us, especially when we are young, and the idea of "transitioning" I am sure can be appealing in the face of this struggle. I love the idea of then moving beyond.

Personally, I think literature is a great help (to be or not to be....) and especially existentialism (the absurdity for all of us of being finite; the Fear and Trembling caused by daring to be yourself in the face of imperfections; I and Thou - daring to be fully yourself IN FRONT OF GOD). Clearly, this is a universal human challenge. Thank you for putting it in these terms.

Thank you. I also think literature is a great help. I know it is essential for my own mental health.

So interesting to read that, apart from English speaking countries, detransitioners from Poland and Norway found their way to Beyond Transition. I can imagine it's thanks to Aleksander Linkowski and Łukasz Sakowski brave testimonies.
