Good episode. I would have liked to hear more of his story. The idea that one is born 'trans' makes my brain explode. Yes, there have always been trans people, but there have also been many other people who struggle with mental and emotional difficulties and we don't normalize those struggles. Let's imagine anorexia becomes normalized as just an identity, something one is born with. Sigh.......

I am not surprised this is confusing. I think this is a wild overcomplication of the situation.

You would be better served by starting from the position of being gay, specifically a gay “bottom”. All the stereotypical behaviours of a bottom are being exhibited, even if the person does not have sex with men or even acknowledges it. Most are in heterosexual relationships, because it’s not the sex that is important, it’s the relationship and that is much easier with a woman. A large number of pure bottoms never engage in penetrative sex, they only receive. They value intimacy and their partners pleasure over their own sexual satisfaction. That does not mean they don’t have a male sex drive, it just doesn’t happen during sex as a priority. Many bottoms present as quite feminine to attract masculine tops, even if that doesn’t always work out so well. Bottoms are always bottoms, but they may have relations with either sex. None of which makes you actually the opposite gender, let alone sex - that is a severe lack of self awareness.

I think what I am saying is you need to examine the relationship needs and not worry about superficial appearances or even sex drive so much, it will make more sense.
