Nothing surprises me anymore with these folks. Angels from God could strike these corrupt people blind and they would still grope about with this insanity with nary a loss of fervor. Unsubstantiated ideologies that have experienced and weathered far less than the children being made to submit to it. This is what the term hellbent was created to describe. Thank you for drawing attention to this.

Mia sure said a mouthful with her "puberty blockers do not buy time to think about your gender identity". I'm reminded of another analogy -- analogies being "the core of cognition" -- this one being from the heydays of the American revolution (apologies to Thomas Jefferson 😉🙂 ):

"Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act upon them; and no man ever had a distinct idea of [gender identity]. It is the mere Abracadabra of the mountebanks calling themselves the priests of [Judith Butler].”

https://quotefancy.com/quote/918147/Thomas-Jefferson-Ridicule-is-the-only-weapon-which-can-be-used-against-unintelligible

Hard to imagine a more "unintelligible proposition" than "gender identity". But given that Christianity has been struggling with getting to the bottom of the Trinity for the last 2000 years or so, one might infer that getting to the bottom of "gender identity" won't happen any sooner than that.

The problem is generally that the concept is rather incoherent to begin with, the solution to which might be to start by defining exactly what we mean by the term. American philosopher William Durant on French philosopher Voltaire:

Durant: “ 'If you wish to converse with me,' said Voltaire, 'define your terms.' How many a debate would have been deflated into a paragraph if the disputants had dared to define their terms! This is the alpha and omega of logic, the heart and soul of it, that every important term in serious discourse shall be subjected to strictest scrutiny and definition. It is difficult, and ruthlessly tests the mind; but once done it is half of any task."

https://quotefancy.com/quote/3001527/Will-Durant-If-you-wish-to-converse-with-me-said-Voltaire-define-your-terms-How-many-a

But something from Kathleen Stock's Material girls which I think holds some water, and is a plausible start on that definition which seems worth pursuing:

KS: “I’m going to suggest [that] having a gender identity misaligned with sex is something comprehensible, to which society should pay respectful attention – though not the degree of uncritical acceptance we currently see. ....

The Identification model involves the general idea of someone subconsciously and consciously ‘identifying’ WITH another. ....

Applied to gender identity, then, an identification model says that [for a male] to have a misaligned female [feminine] gender identity is to identify strongly, in this psychological sense, either with a particular female or with femaleness as a general object or ideal. [Likewise with a female having a male [masculine] gender identity.]”

I can understand why Cass was trying to be utterly fair in her review, but perhaps she supposed that if a trial was set up, it would be done by scientists, not woke cult members.

Fascinating in the worst way. You have just created an amazing resource that documents some of this history of this horrible medical scandal experimenting on children. We cannot fight to bring this down if we do not understand the history, among many other things.

I am particularly curious about the connection to the billionaires who funded this long term plan (wealthy global elite men, some who believe they are women), when their plan was conceived and all of the parts such as:

*control the media, groom people willing to be your puppet into government roles, capture the universities to then train young people as soldiers, control the narrative among cultures, did I say capture the MEDIA, MEDIA, MEDIA),

*How they went about forming all of the ‘non profits’ that would perform the various mind control tasks through which they funnel and launder money

All of that PLUS the connection to the creation of social media. Was there a connection or is it an accident that technology and internet access became a back pocket accessory to young people just at the right moment for this seemingly GRAND plan to be implemented? We know that the addiction qualities of social media and smart phone use were well researched and implemented intentionally. But the tie to gender ideology, queer theory and social justice…. Was it luck?

It would be nice if Olsen-Kennedy would release her report that apparently shows puberty blockers provide no improvement in mental health outcomes instead of burying it for fear the research will be “weaponized.” By “weaponized” I can only assume she means used as reasonable justification for altering treatment paradigms. The results could also be used by the UK to abandon this research proposal.

It’s stupid of him thinking that not releasing it wouldn’t be “weaponised”.

Thank you Stella, Carrie and Mia for doing this podcast. 💐

I just wonder if any of you could draft a “template” letter that we can use to send to our MPs to protest against the NHS for carrying out this dreadful experiment on young people. I say this because English is not my mother tongue and I find letter writing so very difficult. I would therefore really appreciate if you could help me on this. Thank you so much!

Also, is there a way to ask the MPs to address/ investigate the NHS gender clinics of their current treatments (other than affirming only) on the young adults who are captured by this harmful ideology? I know for sure that my daughter is not “trans”. She is distressed and confused, yes!, but definitely ‘not born into a wrong body’. No one ever is.

A non-medicalised, non-surgical approach should be sought, promoted and be given first. (My daughter just turned 20. Self-diagnosed as having ADHD. She was given testosterone on her very first visit to the GP last year after a 20 minutes consultation. She has not had any therapies for her anxiety/ distress. In any case, I have been advised by Mr. Keith Jordan of ‘Our Duty’ when I sought for his help - to steer clear of NHS therapists as most conform to the Affirmative Care model).

Our family is devastated. So heart-broken!

Thank you Stella, Mia, Carrie and everyone else for speaking out. Thank you for all your hard work and your kind support to us, very distressed parents. May God bless you and your families now and always. 💐🙏🙏🙏

Hi Anne!

There's a template letter to send to your MP here:

https://genspect.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/TEMPLATE-PB-Letter.docx

And you can find Genspect's reports and briefing on the trial here, if you'd like to send those along too to really hammer the point home!

Thank you so much for your support and I wish you all the best in the world with your daughter.

I still think that people that haven’t had gender dysphoria doesn’t understand how it is having had it, really, and of the earlier generations that had it before the gender ideologists shut everyone else up most of us just got on with our lives. Too few speak up about the alternative of actually growing out of it without ideological interventions. So the ones dominating the arena of gender dysphoric ailments are the ones who didn’t grow out of it, making their story the one and only story heard. Making the doctors believe that they’re helping or maybe that if we who are better left out of gender interventions are a necessary sacrifice for the reason of helping the ones that never grow out of it.

I remember being happy for a person who had recently done a gender assertion surgery although I felt I am happy I grew out of those feelings myself. But that was a grown up and it was when I heard of kids being manipulated that I reacted as it could’ve been me tampered with. And then I was shut up by the ideology as so many others, ironically accused of denying trans people’s existence while they actually shut up one story out of the 60-80 (98?)% with gender dysphoria that didn’t need intervention prior to gender ideology.

I do believe that we can’t stop what we don’t understand and sadly, I believe that too few of my kind are heard. As most of us just went on with our lives we also strived for normality. This might be good for us on a personal level but for the troubled kids, there’s a need to let other stories than the trans ideologists ones being heard.

I’m happy you exist though and discuss these things on a deeper level even without discussing the gender dysphoria bit, even if some seem to dismiss it. All other issues you discussed I loved how you analysed and drew together the dots.
