Stella, the documentary is beautifully done and powerful. Just what we need, especially here in the US. But I'm glad there was one Irish accent speaking truth amidst the Yanks! :) Thanks for all you have done and continue to do.

I am SOOO glad that this is out and is available widely & freely! This has got to help move the needle in getting more people, powerful and plebes alike, to take the time to understand the terrible situation that has unfolded in the name of gender ideology and gender affirming "care"! Thank YOU to all of the brilliant people who have put this together and are working to make it MUST SEE TV for the world!

This was excellent! It give me something to share with the many people who don’t know what’s going on, and in many cases, judging from the eye rolls, don’t want to know.

Dear Stella,

Thank you for making and sending this excellent video. It just kept getting better and better, touching on one crucial issue after another. I'm so glad you were in it. I was hoping Jennifer Bilek's perspective would be in it, and there she was!

I agree with the commenter who said we've needed this in the US.

I encourage everyone here to do two things:

1. Send the link to this, and the official description of it (there's probably one somewhere) to everyone on your local city council, school board, county board of supervisors, state legislators, governor, members of Congress, and Joe Biden.

Also to any pediatricians you know. And school principals. And local hospital presidents, board members, and pediatrics department.

2. Find out when your local city council, county Board of Supervisors, and/or school board is meeting, and make a public comment about the upcoming Detransition Awareness Day, and encourage everyone in your public comment to honor that day by watch this video with their family or friends.

Together, if each of us wrote half of these emails and spoke in public comment to one body, we could make a real difference together.

Now that this powerful video has been made, explainomg our side of the story so well and thoroughly, by a range of experts and detransitioners, who are also experts, it's up to us to make sure it's seen by as many influential people as possible. Decision-makers.

Who's in?

Thank you Stella O'Malley. I have sent 'Affirmation Generation' to others and put the link in other substacks but don't know if people were able to watch it before it, presumably, has become unavailable online. Thank you again for all you do to ensure that people do not conflate being same-sex attracted, a sexual orientation, with being 'trans,' a so-called gender identity. All I can say is that heterosexual (and some homosexual) male sexual fetishes and paraphilias are consistent, persistent, and insistent and thus here we are with a 'trans cabal' that has swept the Anglo-sphere and beyond and another iatrogenic medical scandal.

This is an amazing movie, with so much detail, info and heart. Thank you and the entire group who made it. It should be required viewing for our politicians and educators. I have sent it to my representatives - please do the same.

Hello everyone,

Please feel free to copy part or all of this letter promoting Affirmation Nation to elected officials from the local to national level, and to healthcare providers, teachers, family, and friends.

I wrote this asking a pediatrician friend of mine to watch the film, but could be sent to people of all walks of life.

It also includes a link to a new study about the stroke risk from cross-sex hormones.

Here it is:

‐-----------------------

Hello,

Here are two significant, newly published items regarding healthcare for people with gender dysphoria (GD) or cross-sex identification.

1. From the American College of Cardiology, a new study finding people who have ever taken cross-sex hormones for GD have 7x the risk for stroke.

https://www.acc.org/About-ACC/Press-Releases/2023/02/22/20/29/Hormone-Therapy-for-Gender-Dysphoria-May-Raise-Cardiovascular-Risks?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

Since some MDs are now saying starting puberty blockers appears to solidify a cross-sex identity rather than serving as a "pause button" for the patient to reflect before deciding whether to take cross-sex hormones, it seems patients and their parents should be warned *before* starting blockers of all the risks of almost certainly proceeding to cross-sex hormones.

Some MDs now call administering blockers "hitting the gas pedal" to proceeding to cross-sex hormones, so warning of all the risks before blockers seems warranted.

2. A new documentary, "Affirmation Nation," with interviews from MDs, psychotherapists, and detransitioners, giving the best documentary overview so far of key gender-critical facts and arguments against social and medical transition. Highly recommend.

I believe/hope this would be worthwhile to spend some of your valuable weekend time to watch and share, given the emerging number of detransitioners and the devastating nature of their results. Some are holding watch parties of this. Discusses AAP stance and its background. 90 minutes.

I wish this documentary showed the documents in it for a minute longer, and listed citations at the end. I've read many of these medical reports from mainstream sources. Their citations should be shown.

I hope these items are useful. I admire and appreciate your willingness to hear other perspectives.

We need more openness such as yours, for patient's sake, given this polarized debate, in which intimidation is being so heavily used by some to stifle research, information sharing, discussion, and analysis, both in medicine and society.

Thank you.
