This is brilliant and perfectly describes what is happening in society (and unfortunately also in my own home).

It was a great Episode. I think one of the problems is when people think "Trans" is real and not just an Idea. Gurwinder Bhogal claims toward the end of the episod, if I understand that some are "real" Trans... I think it's not helping to introduce this idea to the confused kids- because each one of them thinks he or she is the"real trans..."

What a fantastic conversation, so many great points! The huge backlash against gender-nonconformity is of huge concern to me. I don't want little boys to be told they can't wear an Elsa dress if they like, but I totally agree with Mia re adult men wearing women's clothes. I used to love Eddie Izzard, until he got untethered from reality. Now I cannot help but do my best Paddington stare at any cross dressing male, and it saddens me.

Great episode. I now have more curiosity about Gurwinder's work. I love the way he frames things--like "dramageddon." The locus of control as applied to both left and right politics was also intriguing. I appreciated the criticism of James Lindsey as his misogyny, as expressed on Twitter, has been stunning. Perhaps he was "rage baiting"? Perhaps he has recognized that and pulled back? I stopped following him because of it, so if he has course-corrected, I wouldn't know. But clearly he has some loyalists based on comments from Mia, Stella, and Matt O.

It's my understanding that James Lindsey was offered a very large pile of money to give up his principles a couple of years back and turned it down. Two-hour readings of United Nations Theosophists are not audience capture. They capture the audience that is suspicious of the United Nations.

I like "neotoddlerism" as a term because the age of acting out comes after decades of safetyism and the rise of the child-led parenting phenomenon. We have infantilized adulthood and made children into adults at the same time.

I'm a bit confused about your defence of James A. Lindsay. He sends out videos at the moment all about how Communism and how it has taken over US companies, how it's a religion, and he conflates Socialism with Communism. He sounds a bit mad. I'm not a Communist supporter myself, but the way Russia and China are being run is not communist. Neither is N. Korea. They are autocracies.

It cut off abruptly for me too early today, but now the entire episode is showing up, maybe it was processing still? 🤷🏻‍♀️

It ended abruptly, has the recording been truncated?

Thank you. The episode is one hour 29 minutes - I’ve just checked and it ends with Gurwinder telling us his social media handles/blog. Can you check yourself and let me know if you still have an issue?

For me it's 1hr 6min 46sec long and ends while Gurwinder is talking about toddlerism.

On YouTube it's 1hr29min, but on substack seems to be shorter.

My daughter, isolated as a freshman in college during covid lockdowns, acquired Tik Tok Syndrome! It was horrid. We were frantic. She was hospitalized in panic, alone of course, then heavily medicated in what I see as criminal. Within 3 months she attempted suicide. Within another month the tics spread to two of my other children ages 17 and 15 and we thought we would lose our minds. The tics were debilitating. We couldn’t give them forks or knives or glass cups. You could visibly watch the unconscious mind force their bodies to do something they did not want to do. They would tic together jot even able to see each other. Neurologists had no answer other than heavy drugs. They were swamped with cases. Someone named Eva was a big influencer and my daughter was obsessed with her. The ‘look at me and how I suffer and thrive despite my suffering mentality’. Then a year later that daughter thought she was a boy. 3 years later my other two kids still tic and one may have his career dreams shattered because of the whole thing. It’s disgusting what is happening to children.

I enjoyed this episode. Love seeing you after so long, Mia! Glad to put a face with a name to Gurwinder. I am really looking forward to this whole project!

I will especially love to see topics on young adult trans identified kids. (20-25). The ROGD kind who are a few years in, at college or no longer living at home. They threaten separation because they are told they should demand boundaries- ugh. We can’t get their therapy stopped and the world is working against us while boosting their entitlement and victimhood identity. We parents are really helpless. Also, the struggle when a spouse is ready to give in but the other wants to hold authority in their own home and not accept being language bullied, forced to never utter the birth name or childhood nickname or forced to accept accusations of abuse or bad parenting. And young adult siblings who are allies. The moms risk losing their entire family.
